What changed in the API, newest first.

Additive changes (a new field, a new endpoint, a new enum member) can ship in /v1 at any time; parse defensively. Anything that would break a client goes behind a new version path, and is announced here and by email to account holders first.

28 September 2026: plans and languages

  • No free plan any more. A key whose account has no plan answers 402 subscription_required on every route until a plan is chosen in the dashboard. GET /v1/plans no longer lists a free row.
  • Prices: Developer €20, Pro €50 and Business €70 a month, excluding VAT; a year costs ten months. Enterprise on request. See pricing.
  • Documentation in Dutch, French and English.

27 September 2026: v1

The first public version of the API.

  • Measures: GET /v1/subsidies with search and filters by region, topic, company size, instrument type, status, government level, scope, issuer, source, NACE code, programme and dates; compact and full views in Dutch, French and English; GET /v1/subsidies/{id} by id or slug. See searching measures.
  • Matching: POST /v1/match with derivations from postcode, figures, legal form and founding date, four statuses, the result and provenance of every rule, the facts still missing and an indicative estimate; POST /v1/match/bulk for up to 5,000 companies at once. See matching.
  • History: versions of every measure, each with its field-level changes, and as_of for a measure as it stood at any instant.
  • Change feed: GET /v1/changes, with event types, categories, closing-soon reminders and source freshness events. See changes and versions.
  • Webhooks, signed with HMAC-SHA256, with filters by event type, source, region, topic, measure and watchlist. See webhooks.
  • Watchlists of companies, evaluated at once and re-evaluated whenever a measure changes, with match events. See watchlists.
  • Export: the whole catalogue as NDJSON.
  • MCP server at /mcp with six read-only tools. See MCP server.
  • Open routes: health, plans, the OpenAPI 3.1 document, the taxonomy, coverage and the sources register, without a key.
  • The sources served, each with its licence and rights mode, are listed on the sources page and by GET /v1/sources.
